[Super Bomberman 5: Gold Caravan Edition] Character + Battle Option + Stage Corruption setup

2026-09-26 Update: This Password Corruption is also possible to execute in the Super Bomberman Collection game for Nintendo Switch! -------------------- Super Bomberman 5 has a nice password system and with the Character Config menu, you can change character's color palette "beyond its limit" with a Character corruption, as shown in the video. Many people manage to actually "softlock" themselves permanently on their real cartridge. While some are indeed impossible to overwrite with a new character, some can be fixed! And with this "fix", I also found a way to corrupt the multiplayer battle system, including its battle settings and even the stage selection screen. Password used: XR0PLG 17:10 - 20:28 I done goofed and couldn't move. This character can't move once you've thrown a bomb. So skip this time if you don't want to sit down how easy CPUs kill themselves. I also forgot to change my video settings to get to see all those nice frames, whoops! This is played on the Gold Caravan edition on the SD2SNES flashcartridge, but this "might" also work on the real cartridge, maybe even just the normal Super Bomberman 5 cartridge. Do this on your own risk, be sure to try this out through emulation first, who knows, maybe you softlock yourself permanently, so there's quite a risk going on.
