✅ Updated facilitator training course incorporating the latest evidence base in positive psychology, coaching psychology and values-led intervention
✅ Strengthened evidence framework making it easier for schools to demonstrate impact for Ofsted inspections and school mental health and wellbeing awards
✅ Updated resources and toolkits reflecting current government guidance and best practice in peer-led early intervention
✅ New recruitment and onboarding materials to help schools identify and develop the right young people for the Ambassador role
✅ Enhanced consultancy support with updated drop-in call programme and expanded Q&A archive
📌 How the Programme Aligns With the Ofsted Framework
The updated Wellbeing Ambassadors Programme directly supports schools across multiple areas of the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework:
Personal Development — Ambassadors develop leadership, confidence, communication and life skills through their role, contributing to a rich and meaningful wider curriculum
Behaviour and Attitudes — A culture of belonging and peer support improves attitudes to school, reduces isolation, and contributes to positive behaviour across the setting
Leadership and Management — The programme provides a structured, evidence-informed approach to whole school wellbeing with clear frameworks for implementation and impact measurement
Curriculum Enrichment — The Ambassador role provides a meaningful enrichment opportunity that develops real skills and contributes to Gatsby Benchmark achievement
👩🏫 Who Is This Programme For?
The Wellbeing Ambassadors Programme is designed for primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, and other educational settings who want to:
— Develop a sustainable, student-led approach to peer wellbeing and inclusion
— Create a genuine culture of belonging for all young people
— Develop essential life skills and employability in their students
— Meet Ofsted expectations around personal development and enrichment
