Don't worry be happy - MELLOW TONE BRASS BAND

Mellowtone Brass Band was formed in 2019 in Lisbon. The main influence in the band is Bossa Nova and Jazz Swing. It goes through Chorinho, New Orleans Jazz, Samba, Rumba, Maxixe, Fox Trot, Funk or even Pop Rock. The band seeks a typical "Golden Years" sound of the 50's and 70's with some emphasis on Brazilian and American instrumental music. The bass groove and drums are the key, and the creative, loose wind suit of flugelhorn and trombone mix. Occasionally the guitar gives you even more harmony. From the inexhaustible source of the musical universe, we can highlight as important influences the works Tom Jobim, Jacob do Mandolin, Pexinguinha, Duke Ellington, James Brown and Stevie Wonder. With versatility the band can perform on stage and concert, or in a record of mobility and interactivity. The extreme care and good taste in the compositions, arrangements and timbres, as well as the choice of cross-repertoire at various ages, make this group an excellent choice in private parties and public events.
