In this video, you will learn things to keep in mind while travelling to Kedarnath during monsoon, how the trek looks, how long it takes from Delhi etc. Important--- Its a 22 KM long trek, not 16 or 18 as quoted on internet. Be prepared accordingly. Must carry items- Rain Coat/Waterproof jacket, Waterproof shoes or shoe covers, Walking stick, A small carry-on bag with only essentials- personal hygiene kit, warm innerwear, one reusable water bottle. Do not wear slippers, entire pathway is marked and non-slippery but since its a long trek , shoes will be comfortable. Good network connectivity on all service providers throughout the way but still carry some cash in case network goes off in heavy rain. Yatra Registration link - https://registrationandtouristcare.uk... Hotel in Sonprayag- Triyugi heights cottage Hotel in Kedarnath- Ganga Kinaare Dhari Devi temple- opening hours- 6 AM to 8 PM, approx 1.5-2 KM walk, best visited early in the morning when river is covered in mist. If you visit in peak season, make sure hotels are booked well in advance and registration also completed in advance. Monsoon is called off season, though still there will be a lot of yatris on the way. If you have any questions, drop them in the comments.
