Crystal Waters | Ninefold Sound

"Wert thou to attain to but a dewdrop of the crystal waters of divine knowledge, thou wouldst readily realize that true life is not the life of the flesh but the life of the spirit." — Bahá'u'lláh Crystal Waters — Ninefold Sound A note on this passage: the whole weight rests on how small the measure is. Not an ocean of divine knowledge. Not a river. A dewdrop — and that alone would be enough to overturn everything you thought life was. The passage continues: the life of the flesh is common to both men and animals, while the life of the spirit belongs to the pure in heart, who have quaffed from the ocean of faith and partaken of the fruit of certitude. It closes with the line that ends this track — this life knoweth no death, and this existence is crowned by immortality. Source: Bahá'u'lláh, the Kitáb-i-Íqán (The Book of Certitude). Full text at bahai.org. The chorus is the revealed text, word for word and unchanged. The verses and bridge are original writing, not scripture. Ninefold Sound sets the sacred writings of the Bahá'í Faith to modern production — melodic trap, electronic, and world instrumentation. The aim is to let these words reach people the way music reaches them. New tracks regularly. Subscribe if this is your kind of thing. #Bahai #NinefoldSound #SacredMusic
