“Walking These Western Streets” is about walking through Los Angeles with a lifetime of memories riding beside me. Every block has a story. Every corner reminds me of somebody, something, or some version of myself I left behind. These streets have seen struggle, survival, love, loss, mistakes, freedom, and redemption. I don’t walk them as the same man I used to be. I notice the lights differently. I appreciate the silence. I understand what it means just to be free enough to walk wherever my feet decide to take me. Some memories still hurt. Some make me smile. But every step reminds me—I survived long enough to come back and walk these Western streets as a free man.
