The Most Urgent Need!

https://aptministries.org/ www.davidearlestevens.com Meeting Africa’s Urgent Need: Pastoral Training with the Thompson Chain Reference Bible International trainer David Stevens of APT highlights the rapid growth of Christianity in sub-Saharan Africa (projected at 38% of the world’s Christians by 2050) and the urgent need for pastoral training in Bible study and faithful exposition. The episode explains APT’s two-and-a-half-day training held in more than 16 African countries, equipping pastors to study Scripture, use the Thompson Chain Reference Bible, and turn study into simple, text-based, expository messages. Pastors describe moving beyond building doctrine from single verses to understanding connections across Scripture, improving sermon preparation, interpretation, and spiritual growth. The ministry aims to provide each participant a Thompson Bible and notes that training a pastor, including the Bible, costs $50.
