How To Paint Magic Glow Effects in Photoshop

Quick tutorial for folks already familiar with painting in photoshop on a way to use gradient maps in order to paint magic effects. This tutorial probably isn't great for beginners as I don't go over any really basic things. I'm using a wacom cintiq and photoshop 22.1.1
