How Do I Start YouTube Channel | VGR Storyteller Thinking about starting a YouTube channel, but don’t know where to begin? I spent a long time in exactly the same place. I searched for “How to Start a YouTube Channel?” and watched countless videos about starting YouTube, becoming a YouTuber, growing a channel, finding content ideas, choosing a camera, microphone, editing style, thumbnails, views, subscribers, algorithms, and everything else. But somewhere along the way, I realised that there is a big difference between: “How to start YouTube?” and “How do I start YouTube?” Because the second question is not really about creating a channel. It is about the fear inside us. What if I fail? What will people think? What if nobody watches? What if people laugh at me? What if I get negative comments? Am I good enough? Do I need better equipment? Do I have the right content? Should I speak in Telugu or English? Should I show my face? What if this doesn’t work? These are some of the thoughts and fears I faced when I wanted to start YouTube. And I believe many people who want to step into YouTube go through similar feelings. So, instead of simply explaining how to start a YouTube channel, I wanted to tell a small, satirical story about what happens inside our mind when we try to start one. Sometimes it’s not YouTube that stops us. Sometimes it’s the people around us. Sometimes it’s our own doubts. And sometimes, our own mind becomes the biggest obstacle. This video is my take on those fears, doubts, expectations and overthinking — and on what it takes to face them and finally move forward. I faced them. I stepped out. Now, you can too.
