WEEK 0 RECAP: AVCA First Serve + My NEW Top 10 Rankings

College volleyball is officially underway and Week 0 gave us A LOT to talk about. 🏐 In this quick episode of Canaan Courtside, I’m recapping my experience on the ground in Milwaukee for the 2026 Jeep AVCA First Serve, talking about the event as a whole, what stood out to me from opening weekend, and some of my biggest takeaways from the first matches of the NCAA season. And after finally seeing teams take the court, it’s time to make some changes. I’m also revealing my NEW Top 10 rankings after Week 0 and breaking down which teams moved up, which teams moved down, and how the opening weekend impacted the way I’m looking at the top of college volleyball. And we’re only getting started.
