In June 2024, my wife's father passed away in Thailand. A few days after his cremation, I went back to the temple to film the place where it all happened. In this first part, I walk through the temple cemetery. There are no graves or headstones like in Europe. Instead, families build chedis — small stupa-like monuments — to keep the remains of their loved ones after cremation. Some are old and worn, others freshly painted. Each one is a family's way of remembering. A quiet, personal look at how death and farewell are lived in Thailand. #Thailand #ThaiCulture #Buddhism
