Before I talk about this mix, there are a few things I want to address first. 1. The Cover Art The original image used for the thumbnail and cover is an edited version of The Prodigy’s official 2026 tour poster, created by Richey Beckett. All rights to the original artwork belong to him. If Richey Beckett wishes for me to change or remove the cover and thumbnail, please contact me at nbayungson@gmail.com. In the meantime, please go show him some support and check out his incredible artwork! Richey Beckett’s Website: https://www.richeybeckett.com 2. The Visuals You’re probably wondering where I managed to get such high-quality footage of the visuals used during Thunder. Well, the footage comes from this video:    • The Prodigy (Live at Rockstadt Extreme Fes...   The entire concert was captured using a 4K motion camera, which explains why the visuals look so incredibly clear and detailed. The original footage was captured by Motion Capture Pro, and all rights to the footage belong to its original creator. If the original creator wishes for me to remove the footage, please contact me at nbayungson@gmail.com. You can also support their work on Patreon! Patreon:   / prodigy-full-166365442   ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Thunder made a surprise comeback earlier this year at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, during The Prodigy’s 2026 UK Arena Tour. One of the most interesting things about its return was the brand-new visuals. They featured what appeared to be giant tentacles, possibly belonging to the Kraken, attacking that offshore structure from the original Invaders Must Die music video. Funny enough, The Prodigy’s entire theme this year seems to revolve around the Kraken or something similar. Richey Beckett’s 2026 poster artwork also features massive tentacles attacking a city, which honestly gives me some serious Dead Space vibes. I really hope they continue with this theme because I think it’s sick! As for Thunder itself, the version that returned was actually the Dubstep Version, which originally appeared during their 2010 live shows. However, this new version was slightly sped up and featured a few additional elements that weren’t present in the original. Despite these changes, it was still relatively similar to the version played back in 2010. Unfortunately, Thunder’s comeback proved to be pretty short-lived. Following the UK Arena Tour, the track was performed just one more time before disappearing from the setlist once again. And what happened to those new visuals? Well, they weren’t completely abandoned. Instead, they were recycled and primarily used during performances of Need Some1. Interestingly enough, they were also used during Spitfire for one show. My version of Thunder is heavily influenced by its 2026 comeback, especially the faster tempo! However, instead of recreating the Dubstep Version, I decided to take a different approach. This mix is essentially a modernized version of the original 2009 live arrangement, which I personally think is one of the most underrated versions of Thunder. That particular version was only performed a handful of times before being replaced by the Dubstep Version in 2010. I’ve personally never been the biggest fan of the Dubstep Version. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terrible, but I’ve always preferred the original 2009 arrangement. So, I wanted to take what I liked about the 2026 comeback and combine it with the energy and sound of the 2009 version. The result is something that feels like a modern take on an older, overlooked version of Thunder. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this one! https://yssoy.bandcamp.com/track/thun...
