Disobeying God is costing you | JONAH 1 BIBLE STUDY WITH ME (SOAP Method) | Kaci Nicole

It's finally time for a new BIBLE STUDY WITH ME series, and this time we will be studying the book of JONAH! Most prophetic books focus on the words of the prophet, but this book is unique in that it is a story about the prophet Jonah himself. This story is sooo much more than a story about a man who gets swallowed up by a big fish, it's a story that craftily causes the reader to examine his or her own heart and ultimately, a story that masterfully reveals to us the character of God and points us to Jesus. In this Jonah chapter 1 Bible Study With Me video, we are covering the historical context, theme, and book structure for the book of Jonah, and jumping right into the story where Jonah is given a call, but disobeys God. There is always a cost when we cling to our own way and disobey God and Jonah chapter 1 presents the question...what is disobeying God costing you? Studying the book of Jonah has seriously left me in awe...I can't wait to dig in with YOU! 🤍 Use my code KACINICOLE to get 10% off your first order with Mr. Pen - they have the BEST Bible highlighters and pens: https://tinyurl.com/KaciMrPen #Jonah #BibleStudyWithMe #Jonah1 Thanks for being here!
