Need For Speed Underground 2 (PS2) - Part #1 // Prologue - Exploration

Episode 1 // Stage 0 (Rachel's Car) // World Exploration In an effort to keep progression a bit more organized this time, I will do the exploration aspect of each stage first before doing race events. Exploration in this game is mainly picking up free bank, information icons, shop discoveries, and outrun races. In this case, there were no shop discoveries to worry about and I did the outrun races in Part 2 this time. The first hour or so of this game is loaded with exposition. Whether it be SMS messages and cutscenes, but afterwards the game is pretty light on story elements, though we still have to do a lot of running around the map. Bayview isn't a big map by modern standards, but it's design means most areas are connected by 1 to 2 roads which can make commuting a pain. There's also no fast travel in this game (we can jump to the garage, but are re-spawned on the map where we left it), so a lot of playtime is spent just driving from place to place.
