Yann Tiersen - Rue des Cascades (First Live Recoding 1996)

I am happy to share a very interesting recording: the earliest found recording of "rue des cascades", which was broadcast in the program "Sur le pont les artistes" 18/12/1996. Some of my thoughts: Yann plays the first part with a sustain pedal (that smooth sound you hear) at the beginning, which makes this recording special, because it is interesting to hear a version where Yann was just starting to play it live and did not have a preference to play it sharply like in all the other recordings. Also, when he added the accordion, it sounds more gentle and unhurried, and what's more, this is also an instrumental version without Claire Pichet's vocal. Although I love the sharp sound with clear accents in the other recordings this version is worth attention, it is interesting to hear your opinion! I will periodically upload such recordings if they seem interesting to me, thank God they still exist, this search took me almost forever.
