If you haven't played Summon Night 1, this is basically what the final fight of the story looks like, just trust me on this one.
This is arguably the hardest team. It was the last I attempted during my original run of this challenge and I remember pain roughly equivalent to what I went through here. I originally planned to leave it for last but figured it'd be such a roadblock I'd start team building and practice before the time came so I didn't stall on the very last class, turns out I got too into it, this was recorded before the pugilist video.
Something I should disclose is that there were save states used here, just not in the way you might think. This team has a horrendous time applying stone at the start of the fight so what I did was lay a save state in front of the boss and shuffle RNG until I got it, you may notice that the timer is a bit screwed and different from the other videos because of that. Technically no cheating in the fight itself though, all above board.
There is only a mild semblance of an overarching plan to this fight, all I want is to get several turns of near total lockdown to wail on it with aerial talons without parry messing up my day or any of the other parts doing what they do best (first degree murder). The ideal situation is as such: start with stone to set up our two debuffs and one buff in Rain of Ruins, Target Arrow and Aegis Prayer respectively, then into sleep for our first major lock down where we can actually deal damage (petrification buffs physical resistances), then into chain blast with the help of alluring body for maximum binding, getting halfway through SD's health bar in the process.
What actually happened was this video, where I got far from perfect infliction luck, got trolled a few times by SD's most annoying moves, and somehow someway managed to hustle a doomed run into a victory. It is perhaps the most reactionary fight I've done so far, you simply cannot rely on strong damage to end the fight before it begins, you'll eventually end up having to play it by ear with five parts alive, a half dead team, and a very real risk of a major setback when it parries all your damage, wipes your buffs, heals itself, ails your entire team, or all of the above in the same turn. It helps that this is the fight I've practiced the most by far, I've thrown several test runs with and without save states over the course of several days, between my normal gaming time on my PC and when I was out with my phone on hand.
On some level, I'm just glad it's finally done, it hurt, and it was fun, and I'm extremely proud of the end result, this right here is why I love turn based RPGs so much.
