Las Vegas Bike Ride | Downtown to the Westgate Area | POV Ride

Take a POV bike ride through Las Vegas as I head from Downtown toward the Westgate area. I pick up the green bike route around Bridger Avenue and 3rd Street, then follow the bike lanes south through the Commerce Street corridor, passing through the Arts District area and across Charleston. The green bike route continues toward the Strat before eventually giving way to sidewalk riding near St. Louis Avenue. From there, the ride continues past the Strat, across Sahara and south along Las Vegas Boulevard before cutting over toward Paradise Road and Karen Avenue for the final stretch through the Westgate area. It's a good look at what it's actually like to bike between Downtown Las Vegas and the area just east of the Strip, including some good stretches of dedicated bike infrastructure, along with a few places where the bike route gets a little less obvious. A few longer traffic-light stops have been sped up to keep the ride moving.
