I Wasn't Looking for Abbey Falls…

Day 1 from Bangalore to Horanadu on the Devaramane route, in the Grand Vitara. Abbey Falls, the star fort at Sakleshpur, and an off-road test on the way. We cooked our own breakfast and lunch, and ended at Annapoorna Thayi. Bangalore, then Hassan, into the Western Ghats. Sakleshpur was the star fort. From there the day went onto the Devaramane route. That road is where we found Abbey Falls, and where the views opened up. We also took the Grand Vitara off-road on this route. Both meals were ours. We stopped in villages, sat down, and ate while the day was still moving. Horanadu was the close of day 1. Darshan of Annapoorna Thayi.
