This piece is dedicated to Ian David Rosenbaum, Jonny Allen, Terry Sweeney, and Victor Caccese of Sandbox Percussion. Thank you so much for you time and your outstanding musicality! You're the best! The piece itself is based around the idea of acoustic covers/rendition of popular music. I've always loved the acoustic versions of pop songs more than the produced versions. The instruments are meant to be "acoustic" versions of synthesized samples or VSTs that are often used in production.
