SPOILER WARNING Master Hand is the true unsung hero of Smash Ultimate story mode. After a long, grueling series of spirit battles, you cannot progress further due to a rift. However, the Master and Crazy Hands you saved earlier will open the way forward. To do so, you must resist the temptation to just go up and beat light or darkness individually, as that causes the bad endings. Instead, methodically work your way to the center after freeing both hands and fighters. That's the only real way to win this. Pun intended, Master Hand single-handedly beats a mob of light and dark enemies. This is a really interesting mechanic, as you play Master Hand instead of your regular entourage.
