LGB Trains Reverse Loop Fail! (G-scale)

Reversed polarity prevents it from working w/o doing some wiring. I thought I found some tracks that could solve my problem... will I be defeated by two pieces of train tracks? (Looking for something that doesn't require a lot of wiring or knowing anything about that, or having to buy a lot of additional expensive things.) I have seen Jim Zim's reverse loop videos. Does that apply to me? I don't have anything digital. My understanding is the LGB track is supposed to do that w/o any additional wiring or parts..? But again, I have no idea what I'm doing. Wiring things really goes over my head. :-/
