Indoor Air Quality Updates, Focusing on Air Ionization

The concern and knowledge of Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has gradually increased since ASHRAE standard 62.1 was introduced in the 1970’s. Providing IAQ that is acceptable to human occupants and minimizes adverse health effects once again came to the forefront with the recent COVID-19 pandemic. One of the technologies that has been utilized for years to improve IAQ is air ionization systems.
