CALVERT CLIFFS STATE PARK VLOG | Southern Maryland Hiking

This time we are exploring Calvert Cliffs State Park in Calvert County in Southern Maryland. We hope you enjoy our hiking vlog of our 2 mile out and back hike at Calvert Cliffs through the woods to the beach to go hunting for shark teeth and fossils! We didn't end up finding any shark teeth, but we certainly enjoyed all of the diverse views along the trail. The 2 mile trail went from dirt to sand with a little bit of mud in between with a nice little creek that meandered next to most of it and branched out into larger ponds/lakes/marsh land along the way. Megan learned a hard lesson that it might not be the best idea to always go hiking in sandals... especially if those sandals are slides - major blisters and a lot of pain were endured. Don't be stubborn like Megan, think about your hike and make sure you wear the proper shoes so you can enjoy the whole hike!
