Cass Scenic Railroad: Membership Weekend 2016

July 17, 2016 marked as the last railfan event at Cass sponsored by the Mountain State Railroad & Logging Historical Association (At least for now). The membership weekend was a train powered by recently restored Shay #2 facing backwards and hauling a log car, 3 passenger cars and a caboose. The train traveled all 11 miles of the line to Bald Knob, with several runbys along the way. Though not a full blown Railfan Weekend, it did provide those that wished to have an RFW experience in 2016.
