For He has looked upon the humility of His servant; behold, from this day forward all generations shall call me blessed. For the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is His name. His mercy is from generation to generation upon those who fear Him. He has shown strength with His arm and scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has cast down the powerful from their thrones and lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. He has helped Israel, His servant, remembering His mercy, as He promised our ancestors, Abraham and his descendants forever. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
