If you overthink at night, replaying one small comment until it turns into a whole movie, this might be a gentler way to see it. Carl Jung believed the mind runs on energy that has to go somewhere. Maybe your overthinking is creative energy with nowhere to go.
In this slow, quiet talk I look at overthinking through Jung's idea of psychic energy, an early Buddhist text on how one thought grows into ten, and a small notebook habit I use when my mind starts writing its late-night drama. No lists, no pressure. Good for a drive, a walk, or the last few minutes before sleep.
