🏙️ Apartment Hunting in Tokyo as a Foreigner 🇯🇵 | Renting an Apartment in Japan
What is it really like apartment hunting in Tokyo as a foreigner? 🇯🇵 In this video, I’m taking you along on my journey to find an apartment in Tokyo, Japan, and sharing what the rental process is like as a foreigner living in Japan!
The average income for a foreigner living in Japan in their first year is around $1,300 to $1,500 usd a month. The average apartment cost is in the ball park of $500 to $900 usd on the high end. The rental process in Japan is pretty complicated but nothing I'm used to given its similar to the American rental process just with additional fees. The rental market in Japan is actually very small since most people own their own homes, so competition is fierce and supply is low.
Whether you're planning to move to Japan, preparing for a new life in Tokyo, or simply curious about the cost of living in Japan, this video gives you a closer look at the apartment-hunting experience.
