13 x 16 DIY Post & Beam Pavilion Build Part 5: Framing The Roof

Part 5 of the 13x16 post & beam pavilion build....time to frame the roof! The rafters are 4"x9" and just about 9' long. Moving these big heavy rafters was quite the task and I was grateful to have my son help on this part of the build due to the size and weight of the timbers. All the lumber for this pavilion has been milled by myself on the Woodland Mill HM126 sawmill. It is honestly SO satisfying building with lumber I milled myself with trees felled on my own property!
