I Hate Duplee & His Music Essays

Duplee is a music (and political?) hip hop youtube essayist most known for his 7 Levels of Rapper video as well as his infamous debate with Anthony Fantano (Separate Art From The Artist). People like Shawn Cee and Hasan Piker reacted to the debate and also called him out. Though he used to edit clips for Fantano, (ie: 'theneedledrop hating eminem for 20 minutes straight'), he's moved past that to make shallow, at times borderline deceptive 'essays'. His Kendrick Lamar video as well as his 'Why Rap Music Can't Be Positive' video had also gotten hate for being shallow and poorly researched. He is the epitome of a self proclaimed 'enlightened centrist' who is too scare to admit that they're a conservative. He spends more time whinging about 'cancel culture' and outdated stereotypes of leftist Twitter users than educating himself on politics and history.
