Explore Baveno, Italy, on a relaxing 4K walking tour along the shores of Lake Maggiore. Discover its beautiful lakeside promenade, historic churches, beaches, pink granite heritage and views of the Borromean Islands. Located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, Baveno sits close to Stresa and directly opposite the famous Borromean Islands. From the promenade, you can see Isola dei Pescatori and Isola Bella, while Isola Madre appears farther away. The ferry terminal provides regular connections to the Borromean Islands and other towns around the lake. Baveno is also famous for its pink granite, which has been extracted locally for centuries and used in important buildings throughout northern Italy and beyond. One of the main historic sites is the religious complex of Saints Gervasius and Protasius. It includes the parish church, the Baptistery of San Giovanni, the surrounding portico and the Granum Museum. The town also has several small beaches, with both free-access areas and private sections where visitors can rent sun loungers and umbrellas. During summer, you can swim, kayak or simply relax beside the lake. 🏨 FIND HOTELS IN BAVENO 👉 https://www.booking.com/?aid=8049162&... Some links in this description are affiliate links.
