Preparation Method for Texture Base
Materials Needed:
White Cement: 2 parts
Water: 1 part
White Glue (PVA glue): 0.5 part
Instructions:
Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a clean mixing container, add 2 parts of white cement.
Add Water:
Gradually add 1 part of water to the white cement.
Mix well using a spatula or a mixing tool until you achieve a smooth, lump-free consistency.
Incorporate White Glue:
Add 0.5 parts of white glue to the mixture.
Mix thoroughly until the glue is completely blended into the cement and water mixture. This will enhance the adhesion and flexibility of the texture base.
Check Consistency:
The final mixture should have a smooth, creamy texture similar to that of thick yogurt. Adjust by adding a small amount of water or cement if necessary to achieve the desired consistency.
Application:
The texture base is now ready to be applied to your canvas or any surface of choice. Use a palette knife or spatula to spread it evenly.
Drying:
Allow the texture base to dry completely before painting over it. This usually takes a few hours, depending on the thickness of the application and room conditions.
This mixture is perfect for creating textured backgrounds for your paintings. Enjoy experimenting with different patterns and textures!
