EUROPEAN RAILWAYS in the 1990s Gouvy Station (Belgium SNCB) on 30th May 1999 Gare Gouvy On the journey back to the UK, I gave a final look in at the Liège-Guillemins - Luxembourg Line, Gouvy Station to the North of the town of Troisvierges (featured earlier). Here witnessing SNCB Class 55s on services to/from Liège and Luxembourg and fortunately a CFL Class 1800 on a similar train. This location also has a Locomotive shed and sidings and several types of traction were visible from the platforms. A delightful "Chalet" type signalbox to the North End of the platforms gave the station a lot of character. I do hope this video entertains and evokes old fond memories of the European Railway Scene of the era.
