Railroad Crossing | CR 4621, Dunlay, TX

🗓 Date: 10/25/25 🛤 Line: UP Del Rio Subdivision ✭✭✭ After catching the westbound IHOSA at Probandt Street in Downtown San Antonio, I decided to drive west along the Del Rio Subdivision until I ran into some action. I made it all the way west to Dunlay before I ran into some lit signals at Dunlay Siding, so I set up at the only signaled crossing in town to wait out whatever was approaching. It wasn't too long before this eastbound manifest came roaring through with an SD70ACe, AC4460CW, and AC45CCTE on point. This would be the first train in a parade of eight eastbounds that would last all day. This crossing features a pair of 1990s Western Cullen Hayes gates installed by the Southern Pacific.
