The day before Covid finally got me.

July 2025. I'd managed to evade it during the pandemic, but it was never far away. Unbeknown to me, I had been infected by a family visitor the day before (the gift no-one wants!). Luckily, social distancing is easy when you're horse-riding, so thankfully I didn't infect my riding partner. Spent the next three weeks feeling like the walking dead.
