The Keddie Cabin Murders remain one of California's most disturbing unsolved true crime cases. In April 1981, inside Cabin 28 in Keddie, California, Sue Sharp, her son Johnny Sharp, and his friend Dana Wingate were murdered. Twelve-year-old Tina Sharp was abducted. More than four decades later, nobody has ever been charged. In this 31-minute true crime documentary, we investigate the Keddie Cabin Murders, examining the police investigation, disturbing witness accounts, suspicious timelines, reported confessions, and unanswered questions surrounding the Cabin 28 murders. This is the case as the file tells it. A hammer left in a pond for decades. A letter written to a wife. A sealed envelope holding a voice on tape. A reported confession that went nowhere. And a 2018 claim that DNA from the scene matched a suspect who is still alive. What really happened inside Cabin 28? And why has this notorious California cold case remained unsolved? This Keddie murders documentary follows the Sharp family, from Sheila Sharp, who found the scene, to Tina Sharp, who vanished and was later found. It covers the people investigators questioned, from Marty Smartt to Bo Boubede, the investigators who reopened the case, Sheriff Greg Hagwood and Mike Gamberg, and the 2018 DNA claim. Set in Keddie and Quincy, Plumas County, deep in the Feather River Canyon, it is one of the most haunting unsolved murders and cold cases in California history. Where are you watching from?
