Retsu Seiba's second machine - the Vanguard Sonic - was born due to having his first kit fall into boiling lava. Reluctant to part ways with Sonic Saber, Retsu refused to race using the Vanguard Sonic at first. The Vanguard Sonic Premium now has individual fenders for each of its wheels, which is an improvement in terms of weight compared to the Sonic Saber. This kit comes with small diameter wheels, a 3.5:1 gear ratio, and is running on the Super II chassis.
