In this episode of HubTalks filmed during 3daysofdesign at the Rockfon showroom in Copenhagen, architect Nikoline Dyrup Carlsen, co-founder and partner at Spacon & X, and Michael Anker, founder of Anker & Co, discuss how design decisions shape interior space – with particular attention to the details.
Nikoline Dyrup Carlsen explains how Spacon & X translates brand values into spatial identity, while Michael Anker shares how lighting design and strategy enhance atmosphere and reinforce architectural intent.
Having designed some of Denmark’s most recognisable restaurants and workplaces, both designers demonstrate how brand identity is refined through detail – whether in Spacon & X’s layering of materials or Anker & Co’s precise integration of light.
Spacon & X is an award-winning Copenhagen studio known for projects including Hart Bageri and Noma’s POPL Burger. Anker & Co, also founded in 2014, represents leading international lighting brands and brings more than 25 years of experience in architectural and decorative lighting – from Bjarke Ingels’ headquarters to Noma.
