Best Small Stream Fly Rod? Sage Dart Reviewed | Jim Fearn

Looking for the best small stream fly rod? In this video, Jim Fearn from Guide Flyfishing puts the Sage Dart through its paces — the ultra-light, fast-action rod built specifically for tight, tree-lined small rivers and streams. Casting in a corridor of trees, drilling tight loops under low branches, threading a back cast through a window in the canopy: these are the moments the Sage Dart was made for. Jim explains why this rod's combination of light blank, fast tip and easy short-range loading makes it stand out from other small water fly rods, and why pairing it with the RIO Premier Creek line gets the most out of the action. 📖 Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:15 The challenge of small stream casting 00:48 First impressions: light, slim and fast 01:00 Why the Dart's action is unique 01:26 Why we pair it with the RIO Premier Creek 01:55 Final thoughts ▶️ Watch next: Sage R8 Technology    • Sage R8 Technology Explained | The Tech Be...   🎣 Find the Sage Dart and RIO Premier Creek line at your favourite Sage Main Dealer today. 👉 https://www.guideflyfishing.co.uk/sag...
