Otafiire on the Brink of Arrest? Muhoozi Issues Fresh Warning.

On Thursday, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Kahinda Otafiire went straight for the jugular in Parliament, warning that when a general prefers violence, “there is a problem.” He never named Muhoozi, but the message was widely understood as being directed at him. Muhoozi fired back, giving Otafiire one week to apologise — then cutting the deadline to just three days and now to tomorrow. Now the countdown is on. Muhoozi previously gave Minister Justine Nameere a similar ultimatum, and she eventually apologised. But Otafiire is a retired Major General and veteran of Uganda’s political and military establishment. So the question is brutally simple: Will Otafiire apologise — or stand his ground?
