Back to the Father (You Ran to Me) | Christian Worship Song

Sometimes we walk away from God, believing we can find our own way. We chase freedom, follow our dreams, and try to face life on our own. But sometimes, the farther we go, the more we realize how much we need Him. *“Back to the Father (You Ran to Me)”* is an original Christian worship song inspired by the Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32). It tells the story of a wandering heart discovering that true freedom is not found in running away, but in returning to the Father's love. *“I ran away, You ran to me.”* A reminder that God's mercy is greater than our mistakes, His love reaches us in our brokenness, and His arms are open when we return. If you've ever felt lost, distant from God, or tired of trying to walk through life alone, may this song remind you that there is a way home. *Back to the Father.
