Doxy Doodle Puppy Obedience Training | Merlin | Amarillo TX

Merlin, a stubborn and vocal nine-month-old Doxy Doodle, came to Off Leash K9 Training in Amarillo, TX with constant barking and a serious lack of cooperation. By the end of his two-week intensive program, he was already making real progress learning to work with a handler and settle on command. This video shows the start of Merlin's two-week board and train program with trainer Rebecca. You'll see early obedience work focused on building cooperation, managing excessive barking, and rewarding calm, quiet attentiveness. Rebecca works with Merlin's stubborn Dachshund and Doodle instincts rather than against them, setting a strong foundation for the skills to come.
