CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE POLO – MEXICO HIT by Torrential Rain (Latest Updates)

Hurricane Polo remains a Category 5 storm offshore Mexico, bringing heavy rain, flooding and dangerous surf along parts of the Pacific coast despite forecasts showing it is not expected to make landfall. Its center is more than 200 kilometers off Guerrero and Michoacán, while tropical storm conditions are possible farther along the coast.
