Jambalaya (On The Bayou) Guitar Tutorial - Hank Williams | 2-Chord Easy Country Song

Hey everyone! In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to play Jambalaya (On the Bayou) by Hank Williams. This is a 2 chord song, which means it's excellent for beginners - but we are going to take it a few notches further and add some techniques that'll make it sound a lot more like the original recording! I also show you a couple of even easier ones: Cadd9 and G - the transition is so simple between these two it's one of the first pairs of cords that I show brand new students! We work them out and strum through them with downstrokes only, and then after that, we take a look at a strumming pattern. As far as the rhythm is concerned we have a lot of options and throughout the video we keep evolving our strumming pattern until, eventually, we end up with one that sounds exactly like it is on the recording!
