Schindler 5500 elevators 2 & 3 - SkyVue Apartments - W. Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA

This is a tall newer high-rise student apartment building. This building has a set of 2 elevators and 2 single elevators. This is the set of 2 elevators by the "reception" lobby on "4" (not used). The other car only also serves "4R" which's just an exit. These are more basic 5500s with FIGS300 fixtures (Stonehenge COP) serving 14 floors. These are the 2nd tallest 5500s in the city. Sadly these just have bare stainless-steel tin-can cabs, and creek and squeak a lot. These have the voice and floor chimes, but not the exterior directional chimes. I also don't like how these are locked inside, hence the down-ride only. Also not surprising for college residences these are quite unreliable. Installed 2016 . © Elevating Western PA
