In July 1997 I was invited to spend a week in Alaska doing some extensive flying on the route network of Reeve Aleutian Airways and to sample life onboard Reeve legendary fleet of props and jets, a chance never to be missed. The following days will be filled with pure flying heaven from early morning hours until after midnight, getting to know what flying life is alike alongside the Aleutian islands of Alaska and Unalaska, onboard vintage and piston engine aircraft.
