This video counts every dimension — from zero to eleven, plus the strange ones in between. It starts with a single point (and the twenty billion billion billion sizeless electrons inside you), walks along a line where nobody can ever pass anyone, and measures a coastline that has 1.25 dimensions. Then it flattens into a 2D world, finds 2.7 dimensions in a head of broccoli, explains why three is the only number that lets you exist, builds a hypercube, and follows the extra dimensions of string theory and M-theory up to eleven. And it ends with an idea that turns the whole count around: maybe the universe is a hologram, and everything you see is written on a flat surface. Every number in this video is checked against published sources. Comparisons like "three thousand times smaller than a proton" and "a fingernail of black hole surface" are our own calculations from the published values. String theory, M-theory, braneworlds and the holographic principle are hypotheses — the video says so. 0:00 Intro: every dimension, from 0 to 11 0:17 0D: The point 1:05 1D: The line 1:48 1.25D: The coastline 2:43 2D: Flatland 3:43 2.7D: The broccoli 4:30 3D: Ours 5:25 4D: The hypercube 6:14 3+1: Spacetime 7:08 5D: The curled-up dimension 7:58 10D: Strings 8:54 11D: Branes 9:52 2D?: The hologram 10:52 Which dimension would you live in? #dimensions #physics #space
