Lontano da Te / Far from You

Lontano da Te / Far from You is a spacious and reflective Italian festival instrumental about distance, memory and the quiet feeling of being close to someone who is far away. A lyrical flute carries the main melody above warm piano, gentle cello, transparent orchestral strings and subtle acoustic guitar. The slow 6/8 movement gives the composition a floating, almost weightless character, with pauses and open space becoming an essential part of the music. Rather than dramatic sorrow, Lontano da Te / Far from You expresses a quieter emotion — the kind of longing that gradually becomes peaceful acceptance. The flute sings the central theme while the cello answers from a deeper register, creating the feeling of two distant voices communicating across the space between them. Inspired by the refined melodic atmosphere of classic Italian festival music, the arrangement remains organic, warm and elegant, allowing the melody to breathe. Lontano da Te / Far from You is the eighth composition of Ricordo di Sanremo / Memory of Sanremo, following the lights and celebration of Una Notte Italiana / An Italian Night with a more intimate and contemplative mood. Sometimes distance changes nothing that truly matters. #LontanoDaTe #FarFromYou #RicordoDiSanremo #Sanremo #ItalianMusic #ItalianFestival #ItalianBallad #InstrumentalMusic #FluteMusic #OrchestralMusic #MediterraneanMusic #VintageItalian
