David Brainerd (1718 - 1747) gave his life to Jesus at 21 and went home to the Lord at 29. Weak with tuberculosis, coughing up blood as he rode from place to place, he still preached, counselled and prayed. On one of his last days his prayer was: "Lord, strengthen my soul so that I can spend some time in Your presence." We eat three times a day, we work, we rest, but how often do we feed our soul? This song is a call back to prayer.
