Prime Time, Feb 14, 2020 | Did Dr Kafeel Khan's Speech Instigate Violent Protests In Aligarh?

Dr Kafeel Khan, who was arrested in December on allegations of distubing communal harmony for a speech he delivered at Aligarh Muslim University against the Citizenship Act, has been slapped with the tough National Security Act (NSA). Dr Khan was also arrested in 2017 following the deaths of 60 children at a government hospital. Ravish Kumar asks on Prime Time whether one speech delivered by Dr Khan at AMU campus was the sole reason for all the clashes and violence that erupted across the district. Activist Yogendra Yadav who was also present at the gathering said that there was 'not one word' in his speech that was against the nation or the constitution.
