Stepping Into the Ring for a Bigger Purpose: Raising Money to Give Houston’s Kids Opportunities

A group of Houston community leaders is coming together for a special event with a mission that goes far beyond the boxing ring: giving kids positive opportunities and helping build a better future. On September 12, 2026, Andrew will step into the ring for an exhibition boxing match as part of a fundraiser benefiting children and families in the Houston community. The event will include: 🥊 Exhibition boxing and sparring 🚗 Car show 💪 Fitness and community activities ❤️ Fundraising for local kids and families 🎁 Support for children around Thanksgiving and Christmas The organizations behind the event include Self-Made Mafia Promotions, Iron Wall for Kids and Fitness Revival Center, along with community supporters who want to make a difference. The mission is simple: show kids there are better paths forward. Boxing, football, soccer, fitness, mentorship and other positive activities can give young people goals to work toward and people who believe in them. The organizers want to encourage kids to stay away from drugs, gangs and weapons and instead focus on their talents, education, health and future. And this isn't intended to be a one-night effort.
